Terms and Conditions

L’Artemis Studios – Terms & Conditions



Booking & Deposits

  • All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This deposit is deducted from the final balance.
  • Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.
  • For bridal bookings, we recommend scheduling your trial at least 6-9 weeks before your wedding day.


Payment

  • 50% Deposit is required prior to your appointment or event date, unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept payments via our website, bank transfer or other secure methods outlined at the time of booking.
  • Late payments may result in cancellation or additional fees.


Travel Fees

  • All mobile makeup and hair services include basic travel fees within 20 -50km in the Sydney region.
  • Additional travel charges apply for distances beyond this range and will be quoted at the time of booking.


Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours.
  • Cancellations made with less than 7 days' that require a distance further than the 20-50km radius of the Sydney region may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will be charged 100% of the total booking.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested with at least 48 hours notice.


Trials

  • Trials are available and highly recommended for bridal bookings.
  • A trial does not guarantee availability for the event date unless that date is also secured with a deposit.


Studio Use & Collaborations

  • Studio hire is available for select bookings and collaborations. This must be arranged in advance and approved by L’Artemis Studios.
  • Respect for the space and cleanliness is required at all times. Any damages or misuse may result in additional charges.
  • Space can be hired by the hour.


Hygiene & Safety

  • All tools and products are sanitised and handled according to professional hygiene standards.
  • Please notify us in advance of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or health conditions that may impact your service.


Photography & Social Media

  • L’Artemis Studios reserves the right to take and share behind-the-scenes photos/videos for promotional use (with client consent).
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or tagged, please let us know in writing before your appointment.


Liability

  • While every care is taken, L’Artemis Studios is not liable for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or complications arising from our services.
  • Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical and skin information prior to services.

Return and Refund Policy

Return and Refund Policy – L’Artemis Studios

At L’Artemis Studios, we strive to provide exceptional service and products to our valued clients. If you are not completely satisfied, please review our Return and Refund Policy below.


1. Terms of Return
Returns or service cancellations must be requested within 7 days of the appointment or product purchase date.


2. Condition of Return
For product returns, items must be returned unused, unopened, and in their original packaging to qualify for a refund. Services are non-refundable once rendered, unless there is a valid issue.


3. Reasons for Return
We accept returns for products that are damaged, defective, or incorrect. Services are eligible for refund or rebooking only in the event of service issues directly attributable to L’Artemis Studios.

5. Refund Process
Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.
